INFORMATION ABOUT POLLING BOOTH

When the Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System (ETPBS) was introduced for the Karnataka Assembly polls in 2018 to help those in the armed services to exercise their franchise, there were about 27,461 registered service voters in the state. Despite the new mechanism put in place to speed up the postal ballot system, the state registered only 13% of service votes.
